Just another standard pilsener. Easy drinkable, but nothing special. Standard yellow / golden color, malty, grainy smell and taste. Average carbo, low body.

Simples, immerhin trinkbares Bier. 6/6/7/6/6/6

0.66l bottle, random store in Montmartre. Pale golden body, small white head. Honey and vegetable nose, typical Bavaria stuff. Honeyish light typical pale lager taste; not bad, light vegetabley hop. Not all that bad for what it is.

Sample from can, Glunz Craft beer Expo, April 2010. They opened a new can for me. Very light color. Some foam at the top of a very pale beer. The smell is basically Heineken. Very light taste in beer quality. I’d not be surprised if there wasn’t a touch of wheat in here. Very light taste, but at least no corn of off flavors. Not much to distinguish it. needs more malt and hop in my view, though it may be okay within its style.

Decent head and a boring yellow body. Soft aroma of grains and corn. Taste is a soft mix of grains and alcohol. Smooth finish. Really not so bad for what it is, a cheap supermarket strong-alcohol beer. Cost me about half a Euro for a 500ml can!

Found in Belgium, in a Carrefour. Nothing better than bottom shelf supermarket pilsners! Boring yellow body and decent head with just a little carbonation. Aroma of swamp, like that funky fermented-grain smell you get from badly brewed lagers. The taste is even more elusive than that of your regular pilsner.... it almost doesn’t exist! Maybe a bit of grain taste. The mouthfeel is decent, has a dry and hoppy finish. Still, it’s a weak concoction overall.

Rated from memory of hundreds of bottles drank in 1997-20??-something. Typical cheap pils taste but price/quality better in balance than some beers in upper or lower price ranges. Quite stale and bitter as I remember, nice logo of hunter & dog.
