50 cl. can @ home, bought @ Aldi Culemborg. Clear dark golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with some light caramel and even some faint hops. Sweet taste with only a little alcohol burn in the finish. Not bad at all for the style, even somewhat tasty.

F: big, white, good retention. C: blonde, hazy. A: malty, wheat, bubble gum, banana, very sweet fruity. T: malty, bit wheat, banana, bubble gum sweetness, candy, bit soapy, bit vanilla, this is very funny but nice example of how to German Hefeweizen should not be, light to medium body, medium to high carbonation, 0,5l can from AH HESSENPLEIN in Antwerpen.

German 0.5l can in a BE supermarket - this thing just SCREAMS quality to me! Poured in a glass. Color seems a bit of, as it looks very orange. Hazy, but no real yeasty haze like i'm used to in a weisse. Small white haad leaves the room before I could take a good look at it. Smell is sweet, some banana esthers, but also a really weird, chewing-gum-orange aroma. Mild phenolic back, hidden beneath that 'chewing-gum'-like aroma. Taste is medium bitter, definately too sweat (fot the style, but also for the enjoyment) . Some wheat indeed, mild cloves and phenols that are typical to the style. Can't really get over this weird chewing gum sweetness though.

Blik gekregen van Koenzie, het is een goudgeel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een wat zoete geur. De smaak is zoet en alcohol achtig. Echt een Oostblok bier (ookal komt 't van Bavaria)

Sampled from 0.5 l can from 'AH' (Den Bosch), best before April 2019. Clear, amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, sugary and slightly grassy aroma of grains, sugar, honey and some straw. Very sweet, malty, sugary, slightly grassy and minimally fruity taste of grains, honey, sugar, some straw and a touch of dried apricot, followed by a long, quite bitter, slightly grassy and sugary-boozy finish. Medium to full body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Impossible to finish the whole can, unbelievably agressive stuff.

Sampled from 0.5 l can from 'AH XL' (Maastricht), best before November 2018. Hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of honey, banana, pear and a touch of clove. Quite sweet, moderately yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of artificial banana, honey, pear, some vanilla and a touch clove, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy finish.
