Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, smaller frothy head; distinctive nose of herbal - freshly mowed grass - hops, supported by sweet pale malt; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering hayish-hoppy finish with a delicate dry tartness in the aftertaste. Fine german Pils....

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and persistent foamy white head. Sweet wheaty and yeasty aroma with notes of citrus, green bananas and bubblegum, accompanied by a shy clovy touch. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Present wheat-character with notes of banana and citrus; sweet and minimally sour-fruity finish with a whiff of cloves. Quite boring. 20.X.10

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Moderately sweet and wheaty aroma with pronounced banana-fruity notes and a whiff of cloves and a flowery touch in the background. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a sparkling carbonation. Straight wheaty and banana-fruity taste; slightly stronger clovy spice towards the mildly sweet and wheaty finish. Not very complex but still a decent and pleasant example of the style. 28.X.10

Bottle: Golden, a bit unclear, big - slowly collapsing - white loose head; tart lemony - bananas too - sourish nose with some wheat malt involved; light to moderate sourish-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; slightly lingering sourish finish with lemons and bananas. Not really convincing.......

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a small but dense foamy white head. Slightly sweet pale malty and slightly draffy aroma with citrus-fruity and slightly flowery hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Initially sweet malt upfront, mixed soon after with herbal and slightly citric hoppy flavour, drying out towards the slightly bitter and herbal hoppy finish, unfortunately with a tinge of metal. All in all a decent example of the style. 11.X.10

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a fuffy and slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty and banana-fruity wheat-malty aroma with a mineralic and clove-spicy touch. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim wheaty base with shy notes of banana and a whiff of citrus; almost dry, slim and fruity finish with a slightly tart bitterness and shades of herbal hops. Okay. 08.X.10

bottle from Toom Aalen. Cloudy pale yellow colour, large white head. Fruity nose. Fruity, wheaty, slightly sour. A very refreshing light summer beer.
