tall can@friend’s house: really week & watery & the present flavours are really off, cooked vegetables, grass, too much carbonation, metallic + solitary, nasty hop note

500ml bottle. Pale, dull yellow-tan color underneath a big soapy white head that fades out after a few minutes. Lots of bubbly carbonation. Sweet malty brewhouse aroma, typical euro-pils characteristics, but a little dirty and too sugary. Rather soft on the palate, this is a pretty refreshing beer. Respectable noble hopping imparts a real classic feel, and there is a pleasant underlying yeasty creaminess. Okay for a Polish lager I suppose.

Bottle. The pour leaves a clear, golden beer in my glass, topped by a small, white head. Fruity and sweetish on the nose, with piney hops adding some joy. Still, it’s far from an interesting beer. The same goes for the flavor, with pale malts and fruityness, and some bitterness growing towards the finish. The finish might be the best thing about the beer actually. Medium body, dry. Overall, this is a dead boring beer, but sure drinkable and with some quenching qualities. 090829
