Canned, 0.50l. Clear pale straw color with lively bubbles and large frothy white head that was gone quickly. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, some malt and with light skunky notes. Taste starts sour fruity, then followed by light sweetness, luckily not so artificial like in other mass produced radlers. Mouthfeel is plain, but some malt is felt, too. Otherwise, light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. I’m sure Egger can make better radlers...

Bottled, 0.33l. Hazy pale straw color, small frothy white head and lively carbonation. Pleasant lemony aroma. Taste refreshing and sparkling lemon juice with some spiciness in the mouthfeel and very light bitterness that comes from grapefruit. Light body, sticky texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Not to complain about it, good thirst killer, but with no beer character in fact...

Canned, 0.5l. Clear pale golden color with large frothy white head and lively carbonation. Strong malty aroma, then followed by cooked cauliflower and broccoli with light skunky smell, too. Taste starts sweet malty, but it quickly mellows into very plain mouthfeel. For the finish some light bitterness is felt, but I’m not sure where does this come from... Light body, thin texture and soft carbonation in palate.

Da ich für meinen Urlaub 2020 nicht das Land verlassen kann, verbringe ich eine Woche in dem maroden Ferienhaus melnee Eltern in der Wachau. Nach getaner Renovierungsarbeiten gibt es eine Dose dieses Gebräues vom lokalen Supermarkt. Getrunken und mit Prozent bewertet habe ich es schon mal vor ein paar Jahren, aber in der inzwischen neu gestalteten Dose ist immer noch dass gleiche drinnen. Damals fand ich es gar nicht so übel, aber inzwischen muss ich sagen, dass es ein chemisch schmeckendes, flaches Getränk ist. Einzig als Erfrischung an sehr sehr heißen und harten Tagen ok

Can 500ml. @ PBF2012.Clear light to medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, cardboard. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, thin, watery, sweet malt. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20120727]
