(33cl-bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white layer. Sweet malty and grassy hoppy nose. Sweet and faint bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, flat on carbon. Pale malty, slightly papery taste and worty taste; sweet and slightly bitter finish with perfumed malty and grassy hoppy notes in the aftertaste (03.XII.08).

Can (bought anywhere in Bohemia). Golden with a greenish sheen, small - but quite persistent - white head; sweet pale-malty nose with a light metallic tinge and the faintest hoppy illusions; sweetish papery-metallic taste, pretty light bodied, but fizzy; short metallic and bitter-grainy finish. Cheap stuff........

(can) Clear, pale golden colour with medium-sized, non-persistent frothy white head. Sweet grainy nose with notes of sour dough and cardboard. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Grainy, pale malty base with an unpleasant metallic note; slim and papery malty and metallic finish with a shy hoppy bitterness (10.III.09).

Bottle. Golden, rather quickly diminishing white foamy layer. Sweet doughy-worty nose, light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied. Almost lingering bitter-doughy finish. Bad, but not too bad...........

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass very zippy. Starts very washy with an artificial dryness. Unbalanced finish. Not so good!

(6/27/08) Can outside Vinarna Hrozen in Plzen. Yellow-colored. Aroma is quite malty and grainy. Grainy flavor with some faint metallic hints. Light-bodied.

01/08 0.5 l can from Spar in BTC, Ljubljana. Very pale yellow bodied with big head that goes down very fast. Quite ok aroma, some lemon, almond, spices, with some malts as well. But...flavor...ouch! At first slightly sweetish, artificial and watery, but fine. Later turned into something bordering with unpleasant, so artificial skunky spices (read chemicals), that are quite hard to describe in details and I don’t want to bother with it. Finish is luckily short. Really awful, even for radlers!

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma is dry and slight cardboardish. Flavour is the same in a mild spiced note. Ends dry and light spiced.
