Pours dark brown from the bottle and leaves a frothy head that slowly subsides into a thin, creamy layer. An aroma of woodsmoke greets the nose. Taste is lightly bitter and slides into a smokey finish. The body is medium, but the coffee and smoke flavors feel thin in comparison, and not without the occassional light watery note. Decent stuff.

Bottled, thanks Beerhunter111! Clear mahogany colour, small head. Tarry smoky nose. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Citrus, licorice and coffee. Medium bitterness.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing! Smooth with malty hints. Not too bitter, fresh and highly drinkable, lots of malt, moderate sweetish with lots of grain. Nice round aftertaste. Ok.
