0.33 l bottle from ’BierPost.com’, best before May 2017. Hazy, deep red with a massive, foamy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy, a bit fruity and minimally smoky aroma of banana, cloves, nuts, red fruits and a touch of smoked ham. A bit sweetish, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy, moderately smoky and slightly fruity taste of overripe banana, cloves, smoked ham, caramel, nuts and hints of red fruits, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, yeasty-spicy and rather smoky finish. Medium to full body, smooth, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite tasty, looks nice, a bit over-carbonated.

750ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Perfumed, grassy-herbal-spicy, minimally floral hoppy aroma, hints of lavender, petals. Taste is dry, grassy and floral hoppy, a funky yeasty touch, subtle residual caramel malty sweetness.

Hefig-rauchiger Geruch. Süßlicher, mild hefig-rauchiger Start mit etwas erhöhter und eher störender Karbonisierung. Ab dem Mittelteil lässt diese nach, die Rauchigkeit kommt besser hervor. Geringe Herbe, sehr harmonisch, süffig. Zum Ende süßer erscheinend, was die Rauchigkeit nach vorne bringt. Mittellanger Nachhall mit kräutrigen Nuancen. Gut! 10/11/11/12/11/12

Süßlich hefiger, dann trocken alkoholischer Antrunk. Der Alkohol bleibt noch länger vorhanden, würzige Noten fehlen fast vollkommen. Geringe Herbe, langweilig. 8/7/8/8/9/8
