Sampled at VANØ annual meeting 2014. Slightly unclear golden body with a huge, foamy white head that stays. Aroma is a bit weak but standard weissbier. Banana, bubblegum, cloves and slightly citric. Same goes for the flavor. Typical weissbier, but a bit weak and rather uninteresting. Medium body and average to slightly short aftertaste. Totally drinkable, simple, straight forward weissbier.

Orange hazy colour, with a medium white head. Not an intense smell, some yeast. Taste is sweet, more respect most of the weizen beers, with a little of the typical banana note. No hops. A little bit too much carbonation. Not bad, but an average weizen.

Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color. Tangerine, lime, and apricot begin the flavor profile, with wheat, yeast, and clove hitting mid palate. The finish is fairly sweet, accompanied by coriander and subtle banana esters. Lightly toasted malt becomes more pronounced. Overall, a nice hefeweizen.

50cl Bottle from Vomar Noordwijk. Brewed for Benediktiner Weissbräu in Ettal, by Licher, so my bottle says. Hazy golden orange colour, dense off-white head. Aroma of sweet banana, clove, yeast, wheat, typical Hefeweizen fare. Flavour is medium-sweet, spicy, clove, banana, some light-refreshing wheat, light-bitter finish. Light-bodied, firm carbonation. Decent Weizen.
