Black beer, light brown head. Smells of malt and chocolate. Big hefty flavour of toasty malt, chocolate, a little dried fruit and caramel and a perfectly balanced whisky hit. Just enough for it to be distinct but not so much for it to be a boozy mess. And a bit of a toasty aftertaste too with the scotch. Lovely stuff.

On keg at Potter Row. Appearance - murky yellow brown. Decent head. Nose - lemon and sour. Something herbaceous, probably the lemongrass. Taste - really tart bitter, lemon and herbs. Bittersalad and wasabe thing too. Palate - close to medium bodied, extremely tart through middle and finish. Overall - challenging.
