03-01-19 // on tap at Kilkenny irish Pub Hackescher Markt Berlin. This beer is brewed in memory to Graf Hacke, after whom the Hackescher markt is named. Seems to be only served at this Irish Pub and is brewed at Lemke according to Wikipedia. Clear golden, white head. Grainy with a metallic offnote. Not very special, boring and a little flawy.

29th Oct 2018; on-tap at 'Im Alten Zolln' Lubeck. The serving lady said she didn't know what brewery made it, but it came form "The South". Anyway it pours a mahogany red colour with a beige head. Fairly sweet overall, with a caramel front to both the nose and taste; typical Dunkel really, a bit 'thin' body wise and too sweet for it's own good. Luckily I have a sweet tooth, so I actually enjoy most German Dunkel bier I come across. Ha, just noticed it's classed as an 'Amber Ale' on Ratebeer, surely not?

Thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black. Mild malty aroma. Starts fine malty, light roasty, mild sweetness. Finish mild malty, almost a bit washy. Not bad.
