On tap at the brewery. I lied this, but was surprised at how dark this was. Medium amber pour, lots of caramel flavor, soft and smooth, mild malt essence, with the bitterness coming in at the finish.

On tap at the brewery. Saison yeast, but that’s as far as it goes. Picking up notes of Munich dunkel and altbier, but not enough roast grains. A bit sweet, minor bitterness, but I was picking up mostly malts here. This is a saison by nature of the yeast only, hard to pin this one down.

On tap at brewery. Hazy amber pour, creamy head, curtain lacing. Does not present itself as a 9% beer. Mild aroma and flavor, very citrus, tart and bitter at the finish. Served cold, I think the temperature is muting the true nature of this beer. Very smooth, but sense this would really pop when it warms.

Growler from Albertsons. Nice initial entry from Boise latest brewery. Clear copper color, small foamy head. Nice welcoming hop aroma. Taste follows with some light citrus notes. Slick and slippery mouth feel. This going to give some of our local IPAs a run for their money.

On tap at the Garden City brewery rather dark for a California Common Light roast aroma and flavors still not sure about the "to style" but an interesting interpretation. Late bitter bite

On tap at barbarian brewery garden city. Pours out a brownish amber topped with a small head. Nose is nutty malty some roast and a light hop. Taste is more of the nutty roast malt and some light bitterness.

On tap at the Garden City brewery Hazy medium brown no real head and minimal lacing plenty of coffe and moderate dark roast/chocolate malt aroma. Much of the classic saison yeast and spiciness is clobbered by the roastiness. Not bad just a stranger combination.

On tap at barbarian brewery. Pours out a dark cola color topped with a small head. Nose is light barrel notes chocolate malts coffe touch banana clove spice and some sweetness. Taste is more of the chocolate malt banana clove spice coffe and a nice end.
