Description
L'Aravissant is an artisanal brasserie located in the heart of the Aravis massif, in Les Villards sur Thônes, in Haute-Savoie. A native of the country, Laurent Gallay embarked on the brewery adventure on his own in 2012. First settled in Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, the brewery moved in 2016 to be able to develop and offer better reception conditions. Laurent is passionate and likes to innovate every year: his range of beers will always surprise you!

Laurent Gallay produces beers there with hops cultivated in part in this preserved mountain environment. And from brewing per 1000 liter cuvée to bottling, including labeling ... Laurent Gallay does everything by hand according to the principles of the traditional Belgian method!

The Aravissant, the pretty woman of the Aravis that we find on the label is part of a beautiful legend where she would have watered an exhausted peddler who, perked up by this drink, would have taken this recipe and named his drink L'Aravissant in memory of this pretty fairy of good help.

Very strong flavours of citrus and exotic fruits due to Mosaic. Was lacking carbonation since the version drunk had just been bottled by Laurent the master brewer.

Reminiscent of an Indian Pale Ale thanks to a nice bitterness and probable usage of Mosaic hops (to be confirmed with the brewer, Laurent Gallay).

Purchased at the brewery. This is the successor of the American Pale Ale bearing the same barcode number.
