Can from Corti Bros. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is very citrus - lemon seems present. Med body. It's lightly sweet - caramel. It's rather hoppy. It's citrusly bitter - might be grapefruit rind. Juicy isn't far off. Pleasing drink.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours slightly copper tinged gold with a white head. Aroma is mango/citrus. Med body or better. Flavor is mango, citrus, arguably a little dank, and something like part of a ripe pineapple flavor. Certainly not acidic. There's malt support, but let's call this pretty dry. There's fruity hop persisting through the finish. It's reasonably bitter. Tasty. Fun belching! Nice stuff.

Draught at Harry's Hofbrau. Hazy yellow/light gold with pristine white head that retains well across the top and as a collar. Nice retained foam down the glass. Moderate juiciness with almost no bittering and cracker malt backing.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical - I get passionfruit, and I think guava as well. Juicy aroma. Med body or better. Flavor is juicy guava, and I think passionfruit is parsable. Juicily undry and not very bitter. Nice fruit hop. Tasty stuff. Bitter enough to please. Excellent.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours hazy gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is somewhat juicy tropicals. Very pleasing. Med body or so. Frothy carbonation. Flavor is slightly juicy tropicals - passionfruit yes, but I don't think pineapple. Citrus is very low key. This is very nice stuff.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and a combo of tangerine and something suggesting pineapple. Med body at best. Flavor is citrus, chocolate and something related to pineapple. Similar anyway. It's quite dry for me, and the chocolate is a bit earthy. Not exactly bitter, but the oddities function as such. Interesting thing.

Tap at Harry's Hofbrau in Redwood City. Pours clear mahogany with off-white head. Rye stands out here. Spicy and malty. A bit cloying for the ABV for me.

Pint can, courtesy of Owen, pours with a murky dull copper to gold body that supports a tall light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up pineapple, citrus pith and then a blend of tangelo, mango and a bit of oat. The taste starts with smooth juicy pineapple and tangelo and then quickly getting into bitter grapefruit and pithy citrus peel. To midway some thin oat notes join the citrusy and tropical fruity juicy and bitterness. Pretty solid Pale.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours bright gold with a foamy white head. Mixed aroma of clean pine with some mostly citrus fruits. Med body or so. Flavor is rather pine with mixed citrus and arguably a touch of tropical - finish seems to suggest passionfruit, but there's still a lot of pine in the way. Pretty good stuff - old school becomes new again. Or goes to graduate school!

Tap at the Davis Graduate. Pours dark brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is dank citrus/pine. Med + body. Flavor has a slightly roasted malt base, but the main thing is dank pine with a detectable amount of pale prunus fruits. It’s on the verge of juicy sweetness, but it is very hoppy. It’s bitter, but not at all harsh. Good stuff.
