Bottle. Dark brown color. Chocolate, caramel, and a hint of roast in the aroma and malty sweet flavor. Cacao even. Roastbitter finish. Slightly off balance, but certainly not bad.

Uit een flesje op het strand van Schevingen, lunch bij Bora Bora. Bleek geel, weinig schuim. Frisse smaak, wat citrus. Met Schevenings duinwater lees ik.

On tap at Brouwcafé de Hofnar, Scheveningen, Netherlands, Saturday 29th September 2018 on a stunning sunny day and the last day of our holiday Pours reddy amber with a sticky white head atop. It's hoppy but leans more towards a maltier interpretation. Fine but I marginally prefer the Pilsner. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov12 3.2

On tap at Brouwcafé de Hofnar, Scheveningen, Netherlands, Saturday 29th September 2018 on a stunning sunny day and the last day of our holiday Pours gold with a very slight haze to it. Solid pilsner, nothing out of the ordinary but a fair example of the style, pilsner malts, flinty edge, dry finish, light hoppiness throughout. Good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Bottle at De Staat. Bit hazy bright yellow golden with white head. Looks really nice. Wheat, coriander, soft veggies, light orange peel, soft herbs, cream, white bread. Medium sweet, under medium bitter, light tart wheat. Medium bodied with creamy feel. Not too exciting but it looks nice.
