Euros beer 17/24 - Germany 🇩🇪 Malty AF, though more toasty/caramelly than sweet. Low carbonation and no head when poured - comparing to pictures suggests it’s gone flat.

Kulmbacher Export, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Belin. - Hell kupfergolden, blank. - In der Nase eher milde, deutlich fruchtige (Orangenschale) aber nur wenig herbe Hopfung über fein brotigem Malz. - Antrunk etwas fülliger malzaromatisch mit feiner Karamelsüße und mild-aromatischer orangenbitterer und hopfenwürziger Hopfung. Milder rezent, annähernd vollmundig. Im Abgang ausreichende aber etwas harsche Herbe - hier macht sich der Hopfenextrakt bemerkbar. - Brauchbares Export, rund und süffig, für eine Industriebrauerei gar nicht übel. An ein Export aus einer niederbairischen Kleinbrauerei reicht es natürlich nicht heran. (2.7.2024.)
