(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a firm medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, wheaty and a bit cara-malty aroma with notes of citrus and banana, accompanied by a touch of bubblegum. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Sourish wheat-character with citric notes and hints of cara-malt in the background; dry, delicately sweet and sour-tart finish. A bit slim but refreshing and rounded Hefeweizen. 07.I.12

(bottle) Cloudy, brown colour with a big persistent and tanned foamy head. Berry-fruity aroma with a tinge of banana and a moderate wheat-character, accompanied by notes of cloves and caramel. Mildly sour-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasantly modest carbonation. Good balance between fruitiness, delicately toasted malt and present wheaty notes; mildly sour and bitter finish with toasty and slightly grainy malt in the aftertaste. Enjoyable Dunkelweizen. 24.XII.11

Moderately sweet flavour with a present bitterness, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. (bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and fluffy foamy head. Moderately sweet and bready malty aroma with present grassy and herbal hoppy notes. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready malty taste with grassy and slightly herbal accents from the beginning, turning into a bitter sweet and bitter slightly grassy hoppy finish. Not overly complex nor exciting and definitely not identical to the toasty Drachenblut. 17.XII.11

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly cara-malty aroma with notes of grassy, herbal and subtle citric hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Slightly cara-malty base with fresh and profound hoppy flavours; dry-is, slightly sweet and moderately bitter grassy and herbal hoppy finish lingering into the aftertaste. Very pleasant, but the regular Kellerbier stays on top. 17.XII.11

500ml bottle (Zimbus Drachenblut). Clear amber with huge creamy white head. Earthy grain aroma, bread and hay, some bitter hop. Soft palate, monotonous slightly sweet malt taste with a sparkling interlude and a simple fade out instead of a real finish.
