Zurig, appel, moutig, ruikt moerassig, licht grassig, extreem veel koolzuur. Niet zoals het zou moeten, lijkt me.

Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger Geruch mit etwas Karamell. Geschmacklich malzig, etwas Karamell, schwach hopfig.

(Draught at Café Brecht, Amsterdam, 11 Aug 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grass, hay, peaches and a touch of citrus. Malty taste with notes of bread, hay, grass and a mild grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Smooth and well balanced. Nice one.

Bottle. Xmas gift off the missus. Mostly clear medium gold. Decently thick lasting white froth. Cereal malts. Granary bread crust. Bit of a bran flake thing. Light leafy hop. Taste is pretty sweet up front. Has a leafy bitterness. Easy enough drinking. Light bitter finish.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear amber with a small off - white head. The aroma is toasty grain, cereal, ryvita, brown bread, nuttiness, slightly dusty and a touch herbal. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, toasty grain, cereal, ryvita, light tannin, toasted nut, some spice, some grass, herbal, hint of cocoa and brown bread with a dry, toasty finish. Average body and fine carbonation. Not bad, but wouldn't necessarily stand out in a crowd.
