Bügelverschlußflasche: Chestnut coloured, slightly lacing mid-sized off-white head; herbal, slightly metallic hops and shy vegetables in the malty/toasted-malty nose; solid sweetish-bitter flavour, medium-bodied; fruity, sweetish, caramelly and a bit toasted-malty finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad, not very impressive.... P.S. This was Zimbus Drachenblut; I wonder if its similar to a GOLD-Märzen......

500ml Bottle. Pale gold with a frothy white head. Aromas of hay, grassy hops and a touch of sweet malt. Flavour starts slightly sweet before a long, dry finish. A very good Franconian take on pils.

Reminds me of an ESB with its toffee aroma and lingering bitter finish. Spare, diminishing head above a cloudy, amber body. Aroma is toffee and grass with a slight plastic, band-aid smell. Moderately sweet flavor with a moderate bitterness. Medium body and a thin texture. Soft carbonation.
