Bottle: deep golden coloured, thin lacing head; honey and "english" hops in the nose; strong sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; finish starts sweet-malty, becomes very quickly dry and enormous hoppy and resinous towards the end. A devilishly moreish and tasty beer. Top quality by St. Georgen, as usual...........

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, thin, but lacing, stable off-white head; complex aroma: fruit (raisins, almost port-wine), molasses and sweet dark malt; light sweetish, but mainly dry (chocolatey-)bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; toasted sweet-malt and dry chocolatey bitterness in the finish. Tastes like a tamed Doppelbock, an extremely flavoursome beer !!!

An unclear brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with ligth notes of caramel, fruit, cowberries, and strawberries - quite weird for a Dunkles Weizen. The flavor is much more in accordance with the style with notes of wheat, caramel and lots of banana.

(bottle, from pivnizub – thanks !) Clear, dark and reddish amber colour with a short and not very persistent foamy off-white head. Aromatic sweet aroma of dark and toasted malt with a distinctive earthiness, notes of chocolate and a whiff of herbal hops. Sweetbitter flavour, medium to light body, smooth carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel, light fruity and almost floral notes; dry-ish, malty and spicy bitter finish with dark chocolate in the aftertaste.

(bottle, a “Mitbringsel” from pivnizub – thanks !) Clear, deep golden colour with short creamy, slightly off-white head. Dry-ish malty and woody, herbal hoppy aroma. Bittersweet flavour, medium body, soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Well balanced slightly toasty, honeyish maltiness and an aromatic woody hoppy note; resinous dry and bitter herbal hoppy finish. Unusual dry and quite bitter Festbier. Very good.

Pours a cloudy, light brown into an english pint. Micro off-white head with excellent staying power that lasts throughout. Soft and slightly creamy with up-front bread malt with a medium, dry hop finish. Would make a great session beer.
