Pours a cloudy, light brown into an english pint. Micro off-white head with excellent staying power that lasts throughout. Soft and slightly creamy with up-front bread malt with a medium, dry hop finish. Would make a great session beer.

Smallish white head. Hazy yellow body. Milky wheat aroma with citrusy notes. Milky citric taste with wheat and yeast notes. Hoppiness throughout. Milky bitter aftertaste. A decent weizen, but could be more assertive. (0.5l bottle.)

(bottle, from pivnizub) Clear, pale golden colour with a short but persistent foamy white medium head. Sweet grainy malt aroma with floral and herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Well-rounded grainy and hoppy taste; dry-ish, soft malty and hop bitter finish. Flavourful and balanced Helles.

Medium white head. Yellow body. Earthy, meaty aroma with grassy hops. Bitter malty taste of grassy, pea-like hops. Aftertaste is bitter hops with a touch of citrus and metal. Very nice. It’s really the hops that do it. (0.5l bottle.)

This is completely different from the New Glarus zwickels I have had. Those were light and yellow, but this is cloudy and brown. There is a lighter malt aroma that includes a hint of fermenting fruit and wet dog. The flavor is straightforward with malt and yeast; with the yeast being something I expected after the New Glarus. A hint of sourness but very bitter in an English way, much like a light bitter or mild in a lager style. The bitterness is mostly in the aftertaste.
