Can. A- Cocoa, roasty, tart cherry. A- Dark red color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Dry cocoa, tart cherry, mild vanilla, slightly bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish. O- This was not an impressive introduction to Wolf's Ridge. The cherry is nice and tart but does taste a bit artificial. The chocolate does not necessarily add a pleasant feature as well. As for the vanilla, it's pretty subdued. Who really drinks cream ales anyways, as for this one, it's a pass, but not totally offensive.

Sample at Daily Growler UA during the Bowling Green Beer Works Columbus Debut event on 02/28/2020. Clear golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hop, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Blue $2 can. Mine says 6% on the label, not 5.6%. Very pretty foamy choco moose head pour, same eye as a Guinness. Mild coffee chocolate malt nose. Taste is not over the top but it does have a burnt forward flavor. Somewhat like the taste of old aged damp burned campfire wood. In the middle, it starts to become a little more aggressive, more bitter; I think its the coffee coming thru. Big coffee finish, really pounces on you in the end. Long bitter lingering burnt coffee taste remaining well after the session. Started off OK, then went downhill after that but overall not bad for a coffee beer.

Sample at the taproom. Brown-black pour with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patches of lace. Aroma of chocolate malt, ginger and nuts. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, chocolate, ginger and cinnamon. The finish is roasty with a gingerbread walnut cookie aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Hazy straw color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Lime, wheat and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of tart lime, herbal wheat and biscuit malt. The finish is tart with a lime aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom. Dark brown pour with mahogany around the edges and a medium khaki head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, espresso and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

12 oz bottle from Tavour, 6/11/20. Pours a mostly clear yellowish color, white head, mild lace. Tons of coffee on the aroma and flavor. Cream and a little sugar as well, but the coffee is the dominant thing here. This is pretty damn good. I know these golden colored coffee beers are more popular these days, but damn if the good ones don't always hearken me back to Carton's Regular Coffee, and to me, this feels like a sessionable version of that.

Sample at the taproom. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, yeast and oak. Medium body with a sweet-tart tropical fruit character and notes of oak, grassy hop and yeast. The finish is tart and oaky with a passionfruit and citrus aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
