Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a cloudy yellow-gold color with a huge fluffy white head that left incredible lacing. The aroma was dry with citrus and cactus. The flavor was dry and bitter with citrus, cactus, yeast and chalk. Medium length finish. Medium body.

12 oz battle, yes I said battle, even tho its from a bottle, at room temp that is. They must have the whole ridge set of singles at vintage. Pour is big & black with no head after 5 secs. Smell is penetrating permeating volatile black stout, with a sweeter nose. First taste is big black and beefy bold ass kicking alcohol laced happy BS arrogant uppercut bitch wolf. Strong stout, big and impressive, over the top, lots of ass kicking alky going on here and even when it gets you down on the floor it rolls you over and kicks you in the teeth. Way too much alky for these cheap pale lager lovin taste buds, whew, waaaaay ooooohhhver the topppppp. Chocolate bitter dark burned alky soaked old damp partially burned camfire wood. Cannot not even think about the co2 nor any other attributes, the taste bud assault is massive, quite uncivilized, but aren't all good impy stouts? Been awhile since a had a full real serving of this style.

Drinking right from the bottle, I assume its clear pale yellah. Decent carbonation and the taste is shades of leather and some mild grammas permanent hair treatment, same smell as well. A little more medicinal and bitter than expected for a cream ale. I would say that the civility of this is almost on par with good ol genny. Genny is cheaper.

Bottle, sweet volatile aroma of mild perfumy dull hops fill the air. Slightly cloudy & pale. Head fades rapidly. Loads and loads of kick ass so terrible bitter nasty fricken rude thick hops. Did somebody just put hops into a juicer and filter it? All that's left is tons and tons of hoppy thick viscous liquid composed of dah flavors of rotting green grapefruit rinds, dish soap, pine tar sap and turpentine. This truly is an arrogant mouth coating irritating bitch. If you are an IPA man, do this.

Bottle, 50 degrees. Pale with a foamy head, bubbles are quite large. Smells like lager on saison. First taste is more tart than expected, lots of yeast flavor as well. Its over 7% and you know it, heheh. Large and incharge, the taste begins to get a little like cleaning fluid, but in a good way. Hard to juggle with its shade of quick tartness followed by a set of bossy orders; telling me what to think. Difficult citrus finish with some turpentine.

Was hoping for a decent cream ale, friendly and gentle. This stuff is big bold coffee. Should be in teh spiced veggie cat. Stronger impressive high alky feel without the ABV. Weird, close meh eyes and think mild coffee stout. Pretty good carbonation but we have thing bitter roasted cold coffee thing for a finish. Single sided. Coffee is barely perceivable on the nose. Color is simple pale yellow.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/1/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected if 4.6%. Overall this is an excellent session IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Great vibrant, juicy, and dank balanced hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Nice body for the ABV from wheat and oats. Great Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hop profile. One of the better SIPA I have had for sure. A very enjoyable offering.

Very interesting bottle shape. Yeah! Pours clear pale, then cloudy from dregs. Now almost the eye of a somewhat darker pale muddy hefe. Smell of rotten fruit IPA. Good co2! Taste is higher APA in nature. Bitter in the middle. Co2 makes it almost drinkable. Don't know if I could do 2 of these. I guess its on the border between an APA & an IPA on the finish. Not real veggie in the flavor like so many rude sessions.

Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is an awesome American pale ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Never aggressive. Mosaic and Huell Melon hops. Big perfectly balanced juicy hop complexity from both; nice dark/bready malt backbone, with adequate lingering bitter dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Love both hops, awesome showcase.
