12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 10/27/2017. Pours slightly hazy medium orange/amber/light copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grass, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is an excellent American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Great balanced juicy/dank hop complexity; with a nice dark/bready malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Tastes very similar to Alpha King in malt/hop profile.

Sample at Bob's Bar during the "Platform/Wolf’s Ridge Collab Event!" on 01/04/2018. The beer is a reddish-amber color with a medium foamy bone white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of roast malt, fruit and piney hops. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, dried fruit, pine and earthy hops. The finish is malty up front with a piney hop aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. Clear copper-orange color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and honey. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, fruit, malt and floral honey. The finish is hoppy with a light honey sweetness in the aftertaste. Above average overall.

Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, pineapple, red/green apple, white grape, white wine, berries, hay, straw, grass, oak, pepper, rye, and white bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, banana, clove, leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy/light acidic yeast, pale/rye malt, and moderate oak barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, pineapple, red/green apple, white grape, white wine, berries, hay, straw, grass, oak, pepper, rye, and white bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, banana, clove, leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate yeast/oak/rye spiciness and light lactic tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, pineapple, red/green apple, white grape, white wine, berries, hay, straw, grass, oak, pepper, rye, white bread, vanilla, light funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/light acidic yeast, pale/rye malt, and moderate oak barrel flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/spiciness balance, and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly acidic/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an amazing wild saison! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/light acidic yeast, pale/rye malt, and moderate oak barrel flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly lactic/spicy/tannic/drying finish. Absolutely wonderful well rounded Brett/Lacto/Hefe/Saison yeast complexity; nice pale/rye malt backbone, and great oak presence. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example.

Sample at the tap room. Dark brown color with some amber around the edges, and a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate, herbal wheat, fruit and grain. The finish is chocolatey and fruity. Pretty good overall.

Aromas of big tart/sour red/black cherry, blackberry, raisin, plum, fig, date, lemon, lime, red/green apple, currant, red grape, red wine, hay, straw, grass, toasted oak, leathery/musty funk, honey, caramel, brown sugar, and bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, dark/bready malt, and oak barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tart/sour red/black cherry, blackberry, raisin, plum, fig, date, lemon, lime, red/green apple, currant, red grape, red wine, hay, straw, grass, toasted oak, leathery/musty funk, honey, caramel, brown sugar, and bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness. All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, dark/bready malt, and oak barrel flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, with the mellowly lactic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Outstanding fruity/funky Brett and Lacto complexity, perfectly balanced dark/bready malts, and nice oak presence. A touch too heavy on the darker fruits, but the malt backbone was perfect. Never overly sour or lactic. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. One of the best ones I have had.

Keg at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Cloudy pale amber, small head. Grapefruit and lychee up front. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Somewhat sharp and cardboardy. White pepper grapefruit and notes of caramel. Mid bitter piney finish. Lacking malt character.

Keg at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Clear golden, small head. Rich aroma of quality coffee. Mid sweet with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Firm, yet light and soft malt. Lightly grainy and spicy with lots of coffee, some vanilla. Mid bitter finish. Really well made beer, but coffee being this dominant it should be classified a S/H/V here.
