Small patches of lace, The aroma consist of sherry barrel, malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of sherry, malt, fudge and cherry. The finish is malty and fruity with a sherry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, port wine and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, dark fruit, oak and chocolate. The finish is slightly syrupy with a port wine and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Short strings of lace. Aroma of malt, cinnamon and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, cinnamon and dark fruit. The finish is like a cinnamon raisin granola cookie. Unique beer, pretty good all around.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium khaki head that recedes gradually to a film. Strings of lacing. Roasted malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, coffee and chocolate. The finish is roasty with a bready malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Growler from beerbeggar. Completely clear pale straw color. Clean, clear smoke. Very clean white cracker maltiness. Flavor is less smokey, more mineral lager with a seltzer like mouthfeel. Just a hint of sweet smoke at the end. Short aftertaste.
