Bottle: Clear gold with a large, solid white head. Corn, grain aroma. Taste is very grainy....slightly tangy-bitter grain malt. Not smooth or creamy at all. Made me think I was drinking a cheap carribean lager, actually. Not great.

Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Roast malt, chocolate and blueberry aroma. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, blueberry and a touch of coffee. The finish is semi-sweet blueberry and malt. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear amber color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing. Hops, fruit and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of earthy hop, roast malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Jet black color with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Bourbon, coffee and vanilla aroma. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, coffee and malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and vanilla mocha aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear amber-orange color with a medium ivory white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt, fruit and slight hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, dried fruit and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy dark amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of bourbon, pumpkin spice and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of bourbon, cinnamon, malt and oak. The finish is boozy with a pumpkin pie aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the North Market Ohio Craft Brew Festival on 09/23/2016. Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Coconut, malt and spice aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted coconut, bready malt and vanilla cream. The finish is toasty coconut and vanilla. Above average overall.

Sample at the North Market Ohio Craft Brew Festival on 09/23/2016. This beer pours pitch black with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Bourbon, oak, vanilla and malt aromas. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, roast malt and peppers. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and subtle lingering spice aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Smokey aroma with malt and yeast notes. Light-bodied with a smoked malt character and notes of grainy malt and fruit. The finish is smoked meat and malt. Decent overall.
