Sample at the CCBW Six One Pour festival on 05/09/2015. Orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, hops and bready malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is nice clove, medium/light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is some clove and some bubble gum. Taste is pretty light, but not bad.

On tap at the brewpub. Coal black with light brown head. Aroma is cocoa nibs, thick body, medium carbonation, and good thin small-bubble lacing. Taste is dark chocolate, some roast, some coffee, and really dry finish. My first imperial foreign stout?

On tap at the brewpub. Clear light amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is medium dank and some floral, medium carbonation, medium body, and little lacing. Taste is grapefruit, pine dank, and bitter finish. Not bad, but not my kind of double IPA.

Sample at the taproom. Brownish-black pour with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and rum. Full-bodied with flavors of buttery tum, roasted coffee and chocolate malt. The finish is sweet rum and mild coffee. Interesting and enjoyable beer all around.

Sample at the taproom. The beer is a brownish-black color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate and tart cherry. The finish is malty up front with a semi-tart cherry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom. The beer pours brownish-black with a medium thick creamy light brown head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, spices and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of sweet chocolate offset by peppery spices, with some vanilla and coffee in the background. The finish is sweet bakers chocolate and subtle spice. Enjoyable beer all around.

Sample at the taproom during the "Taproom Grand Opening" event on 01/24/2015. The beer is a hazy copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, fruit and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of roast malt, ripe fruit and earthy hops. The finish is fruity with a short malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom during the "Taproom Grand Opening" event on 01/24/2015. Pours a brown-black color with a medium foamy light brown head that recedes gradually to a film. Sticky small patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, chocolate and chili pepper in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of burnt malt, dark chocolate and subtle peppers. The finish is malty up front with a slow peppery burn on the back end. Pretty nuanced and enjoyable overall.

Aroma of chocolate, malt and rum. Full-bodied with flavors of buttery rum, roasted malt and sweet chocolate. The finish is sweet with a rum raisin aftertaste. Solid beer all around.
