Draught at Downtown Joe’s Napa. Almost clear amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, earth, light grain, toffee and raw sugar. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of caramel malt and earth. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Bit astringent and grainy. Yuck.

Draft a the the brewpub. Mid amber coloured pour with a lasting greyish loose head. Aroma is tangy tart red berry., nutty malts solvent. Flavour is composed of dirty toast, nutty malts, red berry, bitter, dirty hop. Bland and terrible. Palate is dry and chalky, grainy, highish spritzy. Aggressively bitter and dirty. Dirty.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours translucent amber with a creamy beige head. Lots of citrus in the aroma. Flavor is mixed citrus resin over decent mildly roasty caramel. Finishes not exactly dry,, but pretty hoppy and bitter. Nice drink.

On tap at brewery. Pours deep orange/copper with off white head. Some soft citrus aroma and earth. Taste is sharp and bitter. Spikes through in mid-palate to disrupt this beer. Not balanced.
