Tap at the brewery. Pale blond, slight cloudiness, small white head. Aroma is pine, bit of lemon. Taste is quite crisp, doesn't have as much bitterness as the aroma suggests but it does build up further down the glass. Nice and grainy. Bit of a thirst quencher. Not bad. Tried again at the Utsunomiya Beer Fest in 2016. Spicy and peppery aroma. Taste is crazy. Creamy, spicy very weird. Unique experience. Seems it was quite different! Scores pretty much the same though.

Tap at the brewery. Pale cloudy blond, big fluffy creamy white head. Aroma is bit funky, some fruit, citrus, maybe lime. Obviously wheat too. Taste is nice, very crisp, nice citrus, slight funkiness, floury dry, slight sour cream taste. Very nice.

Bottle at the brewery. Pale blond colour, bubbly white head. Aroma is nice, fruity, raspberry and maybe some spice. But of stink in the background but a good stink. Some sweet element too, love hearts (the sweets). Taste is fruity, more sweet, strawberry purée, slight creaminess. Something herbal. Bit spritzy. Biscuity malt in the background. Really different, very nice. Sweet but not cloying. I never expected it to taste like this.

Tap at the brewery. Dark brown with creamy gold head. Aroma is roast and smoke. Coffee too, touch of creamy dairy. Taste is good, touch of herbs, roasty, slight coffee bitterness, cream, something weird, liquorice or clove maybe, but just a hint. Little bit of smoke there too. Really nice. Can't believe it is only 5.5% lots of flavour.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Really watery pale blond colour with white bubbly head. Aroma is overwhelmingly pear, bit of candy-like sweetness too. But full on pear juice. Taste is similar, very much full on pear juice. Bit of wheatiness lurking in the background, maybe a bit of cherry there too. Light carbonation and fairly light-bodied. It's quite nice, but more as a soft drink. Not very beer like. Just a little bit of boozy body at the finish, but not much. Pear juice in the foreground, kind of floury helles lurking very much in the background.

Bottle bought at the brewery, labeled as "Special Sparkling'. Cloudy pale yellow bubbly white head. Aroma is strawberry, bit of plastic, apple, pear, slight funk. Taste is a bit thin, but fruity, nice apple and pear up front but finish is a bit flat. Sparkling texture but feels a bit weird and watery. Some creaminess too. Taste is ok if uninspiring, but the texture is not so nice.

Keyaki fall 2016. Tons of grape gummies. Just grape and not much else. Easy drinking, but the kool-aid factor is a bit much. Fun I guess, but not really. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kaettekita Ultraman Light on 18 Sep 2016 at 15:38 - Score: 6

Tap at CBM Koenji. Nose of lemon, cedar, spruce tips, light butter. Woody and resiny. Very resiny flavor, lemon. Interesting. Fizzy and soft carbo. Don’t want a lot, but interesting.
