Tropical IPA from Mad Anthony Brewing Co.

Pours very hazy pale yellow with a small, lingering white head. It smells mainly of citrusy hops. The flavor is moderately bitter with citrus and the expected malty sweetness though less sweet than many hazy IPAs. It’s alright but somehow there’s not much depth here.

Raspberry Hibiscus Tart from Mad Anthony Brewing Co.

Pours red, almost a magenta color, with a small white head. The aroma is all about the tart raspberries. So is the flavor. It’s a nice combo of sweet and tart, a pleasant fruity summer brew, though I’m having trouble picking out the hibiscus.

Pours hazy amber with a lingering white head. It has a mild caramel malt aroma. It tastes of toasted caramel malt and is lightly sweet with balanced hops bitterness. Medium bodied.

Pours mostly clear yellow with a mild grainy malt aroma. The flavor is mild and sweet. Grainy, bready. Minimal hops. Refreshing but kind of bland.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a small lingering white head. It smells like skittles and some resin. Yep, it tastes like Skittles. There’s also resinous hops and cannabis with the latter two lingering in the finish. Skittles in beer does not sound at all good to me and I like Skittles. It’s still not my favorite thing, but it works better than I thought it would.

Pours hazy pale yellow. The aroma is fruity with citrus and apples. The flavor is fairly sweet and quite fruity. Tartness is very mild. It’s definitely more on the sweet side. Light bodied.

On tap at GTOM. Pours a hazy gold with small white head. The aroma is dole pineapple, wheat, yogurt. Medium body, juicy pineapple, lacto, nice tartness, very good.

Hazy light yellow pour with a small off white head. The aroma is big on the guava, as is the flavor. It’s sweet and malty with guava, mild bitterness, and a little hop resin. Medium bodied.

Train Wreck Hazy Black IPA from Mad Anthony Brewing Co.

Pours very dark brown with a lasting light tan head. Excellent lacing. Very dank aroma. The flavor is also big on the dank cannibas. My phone keeps autocorrecting cannibas to cannibals. Sigh. There’s also some roast malt and chocolate and mild to moderate bitterness. Medium bodied.

Cara Cara Orange Tart from Mad Anthony Brewing Co.

Pours murky yellow orange with minimal head. Aroma is of oranges and malt with light tartness. Flavor is mild to moderately tart. The oranges and malt blend nicely. It’s balanced and refreshing, a very tasty kettle sour.
