West Coast Brewing Fruit Monster 7% Strawberry Milkshake Double IPA Opaque orange red with no head and a fruity strawberry aroma. Sharply carbonated and gassy on a medium body. The taste is fruity tangy strawberry. Quite a good beer and one to linger over though I was in the mood for something to quickly pound back and go home... oh it was 1000¥ a half pour just FYI.

Tap at Bungalow. Hazy gold with a low head. Juicy topical fruit, mango, orange. Sweet and juicy flavor, almost astringent mango. ric and juicy. Good stuff.

Really good. As bitter as your happy grandma.

This brewery has literally 10 beers, and nearly half are over 4 stars on here. Impressed? No? Piss off.

very turbid white amber color. Almost a dirty brown. Doesn’t look that attractive. Very dank juicy nose with tons of guava, melon and breadfruit. Modestly sweetish. Yum yum. The palate is perfect with super tight low carbonation, low bitterness, dank, very juicy, tons of over ripe mangos, citrus and melon notes. Slight uncomfortable burn at the back of the throat but honestly it’s minimal. The booziness hits after that. Certainly it distracts an otherwise great iiipa. The hop character is fantastic and really well made, has a ton of potential to be like a 4.3 or 4.4 beer, but I know other breweries can make the heat go away at 8%, these guys can’t/didn’t with this beer.

fairly pale golden color. Modest frothy head. Big grassy nose with a dry minerally Muscat character. Very crisp with a mineralliness that you can’t get in German lagers. Firm bitterness. Bone dry. Not my favorite style but a good take on what it is.

Very turbid amber white color with somewhat loose head. A bit unusual for the style and I am seeing bubbles sticking to the side of the top of the glass. Dank fruitiness with tons of tangerines, citrus and melon notes, but alcohol is a touch present in the nose which gets me worried. It has this slight alcohol warming at the end which the alchemist has but it doesn’t interfer as much, that said it also doesn’t have the depth or palate of the alchemist. Not dank or tart enough. That said, many brewers can still make it less boozy than this at 9%. It’s really lack depth that other IPAs had. Certainly a touch of melon and guava and it’s not bad, but it’s not to the level I would hope from these guys

Deep golden color. Nice hoppy nose with nectarine, citrus and beautiful crackery maltiness. A lot more tropical fruit in the palate. Modest bitterness, lighter body than most wcipa and bitterness isn’t over the top. Still very approachable. Fairly dry. Well balanced. Really reminds me of GFWCIPA circa 2006. The more I drink the more I like it. Bitterness comes out a bit more as it warms. Wow. I am a fan
