Tap at BeerFes Osaka 2019. Grainy nose like granola or muesli. Popcorn. Clear gold with a high head. Buttery, grainy popcorn flavor. You all know what I mean. Yuck.

330ml bottle from Family Mart in Nikko. Pours dirty orange, bit cloudy and honestly not that good-looking. Nose however strikes fruits lots of fresh fruitiness, sticky tropical overripe fruits. Taste has more of that fruity character, hoppy with medium and sharp bitterness. Floral. Quite good dry-hopping, decent brew, just looking a bit off.

Can from Family Mart in Nikko. Pours nice golden, clear and some white foam on top. Looking decent. Malty biscuit nose, bit sourish but overall relatively crisp. Taste is crisp and malty, full bodied for a lager, not bad. A bit of sweetness there. Light to medium bitterness leads to a malty-bitter light herbal linger in the finish. Not bad.

Tap at CBM Lucua. Cloudy golden. They all pretty much look the same. Estery nose, citrus, tart. A bit bland flavor, citrus, not much wheat or esters or clove coming through. A bit watery and sour. Decent, but clearly the most amateurish of the three we tried.

Medium light amber color. Beautiful (dry hopped?!) nose of apricot, apples and pears. However beautiful the nose is the mouth didn’t deliver. Low bitterness, marmalade, over ripe peaches. The beer was a bit all over the place. It could be I didn’t groove on the hops. Very light and easy to drink though. Over ripe apricots linger in the finish
