US pint can at Farmers Bar, Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear yellow golden colour, with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, toffee, malt, light earthy, light citrus, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Tokyo Aleworks Yuyake Amber Lager 5% An Amber orange brown color with big soapy beige foam that was blink and you’ll miss it brief. Mild malty sweet aroma with notes of orange blossoms. Light bodied, almost watery, candied orange, light caramel and biscuit flavors. Easy drinker, it’s not sunset yet but this feels like the end of summer…

Back to great smelling IPAs, awesome! Tokyo Aleworkd Emerald Paradise IPA 7% Clear gold with wispy white foam that did not stick around. The aroma is great, mild citrus zest mixed in with great topical notes.medium bodied with a fairly dry finish. The taste is bitter woodsy herbal hops before some juicy tropical elements come in with balancing sweetness. Solid stuff.

Tokyo Aleworks IIPA Tropical Flow West Coast - Piña Colada brew 8.5% Deep gold with thick off-white foam and a rich malty honey and mild tropical fruit punch aroma. Medium to full bodied and pretty smooth but with a bit of a boozy edge to it. The taste is rich stone fruit, tropical notes then a bit of a bitter woodsy pine finish. Nice stuff, tropical but not the sweet piña colada I was expecting.
