A collaboration I wanted to try and luckily enough I stumbled on it at Stand Umineko in Kyoto. Tokyo Aleworks x Napalm Death Smashing Imperialism Imperial Stout 9% Deep black with a fast dissipating tan head and big roasty aroma with savory umami soy notes. Full bodied with a raspy carbonation, dark chocolate, roasted malts and butterscotch. Quite a bit of savory elements and 70% cacao coming up in the finish. A beer that grows on you though the carbonation like the band is aggressive.

Medium light straw color. Frothy white head. Lots of red and orange gummy bears in the nose. Fairly sweet nose with that theme continuing to a fairly sweet and sticky palate. Very fruity, but not particularly dank or juicy. low carbonation, low medium bitterness. I personally liked this, but I can see how the sweetness might not appeal to everyone.

Golden color. Some crackery malt, citrus and pine in the nose. A bit too sweet for me. It was ok, but not tons of balance.

Golden color. pretty harsh bitter and simple. This didnt do much for me. Meh

light amber color. Light body. Modestly spicy. Decent bitterness. rye is fairly present

cloudy amber golden color. Semi dank good orange and white gummies . A bit sweet and less tart than I would like but decent.

deep golden amber color. Excellent citrus, piney notes with good crackery malt character.
Clean bitter, dry and well balanced. Medium full body. Fantastic take on the style.

golden color. Nice cereal malt, grassy notes. Firm bitterness. Not as balanced as hoped but decent.

medium dark amber. Toffee, strawberries and orange.
Malt forward but tons of hops to balance things out.

Bottle from Titans. Deep red-orange-brown, lacy head. Nose is chocolate, caramel, pine. Rich malt flavor, lots of chocolate, citrus, pine, quite tasty and not too heavy.
