Delightful stuff. Kinda hazy aroma, but full bitter funk inside. Hops win. Goes great with my bacon olive guacamole salad.

Was this brewed for Xmas? Great collab with Lompoc. Rye beers are quite touchy but this one is delicately balanced. Like half red/half rye IPA. Nice lil beer word search, too. 🍻

Brewed with the same fungus used to ferment soybeans and sake. This is smooth and elegant and oh! so crushable. Sold out now.

First up hoping for some brighter skies up ahead... Nomcraft Bright Skies IPA West Coast IPA 7% Orange amber with a thin off-white top of foam and a bready stone fruit aroma. The taste adds strawberries and the smooth medium body is nice but the aftertaste has a bit of buttery richness I feel is probably traces of diacetyl. All in all Pretty good though.

Ahhh, haven’t had a beer like that in awhile. I get orange peel followed by citrus juice notes, but not juicy. That makes sense, yeah? Purchased from Nomcraft but that location doesn’t show up so Big Whale it is.

Apparently my 1300th Japanese Beer. One of the better ones, too! Not as pulpy as Five Strings, but juicy hops. Snappy. Movie night: guess the film.

Fabulously smooth. Great slow sipper for an afternoon read.

Once I thought I saw you in a crowded hazy bar, dancing on the light from star to star. Anyway, one of the best Kansai hazies I’ve had! Collab with Len Hostel, it seems. Not sure about the strings.

very turbid white amber color. Beautiful nose of pineapples, mangoes and guava with citrus notes. In the background I get a bit of funky yeasty notes. Palate is smooth, low bitterness, dank and low carbonation but massive funky yeast character that works fairly well with the beer. Pulled it off very well. Excellent.
