Hazy pale, medium head. Very fruity, like not czech, but more real on the palate with a fair bit of saaz, decent pale malt and sadly also some butter. Okay so this didn’t come together in many ways.

On tap at Aslan Depot, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite seltzery, with some brut yeast, and sweatiness. Flavour is dominated by the brut yeast—lots of carbonation, slight residual sweetness, and rustic notes. Somewhat mineraly palate, with lots of champagne-like character. Interesting beer—I like the brut yeast, but it feels like they've gotten more out of this.

12 oz can out of a six pack from the brewery. I'm getting to the point where I get excited for new pale lagers. Hmm. I wonder what will be next. This is a nice 6 pack to have in stock in the fridge though. Nice, crisp, flavorful lager. Clean, shiny golden appearance. Plenty of loose foam head. Some cracker grains, subtle grassy hops. Cool, crisp and refreshing, so it's definitely what I look for within the style. Would love to have some ice cold cans of these when baseball season returns.
