Their only IPA is juicy, smooth, clean as a whistle, and the perfect level of hop. Great stuff.

Really nice, especially with a bleu cheese salad. From the earth kinda saison, with very clean water, I reckon. Gunma beer.

Bottle shared by KL. Oct One Mori no Porter 4.5% A dark brown/black with a tan head and a roasty cocoa aroma. I suspect there some black patent malts in there but there’s some good flavor though the body is on the thin side. A decent beer. 3.3-4

Bottle from Furusato Nozei. Chocolate and cocoa nose, lightly furity. Flavor is a bit tart, a bit roasty, berries, chocolate. Body is a bit thin but overall decent.

Bottle from Furusato Nozei. Nose is yuzu citrus, soap, grapefruit. Orange-golden color, clear. Creamy from the oatmeal, seems like added yuzu but not on the label. A bit oily and soapy, slightly harsh finish.

Bottle from the brewery, Furusato Nozei. Nose is a bit of acetone, grape, honey, apple. Cleear, bright gold. Flavor is better than the nose, honey, biscuits, apples, lemon and a bit of funk. Crisp body. Nose is messed up.

Bottle. Furusato Nozei, baby. Lightly estery wheat, crackers or breakfast cereal, citrus. Deep gold, clear, low head. Rich biscuity wheat is quite nice, creamy, stands out. Light hops, more stone fruit and light tropical than citrus, but of orange creamsicle though. Crisp and clean, nicely peppery, bitter finish. Decently made; could use more hop aroma for sure.rather uninspiring.

Bottle. Bright golden color with a bit of hazy and a medium head. Yuzu nose, honey malts, peppery saison yeast. Dry and tart with lots of yuzu but it isn't overwhelming. Slightly flowery. Crisp and dry. This is a nice saison, not too sweet or heavy, and the yuzu is well used.

Bottle from Furusato Nozei. Cloudy orange-brown with a low, lacy head. Lemony nose, biscuity malt, slightly perfumy. Lemony hop flavor, biscuits, dry finish that is prickly and slightly bitter. Something slightly weird in there, but not off. Light, soft carbonation, maybe slightly too flat. Nice fruit. Not quite there, but not bad.
