Can. Cloudy, thin head. Some sort of vegetal/cryo type of thing. This is decent, I like the malts, with a mellow earthy hop character. It's ok, but not my favourite hop character - I like the German ones but I taste a fair bit of stale centennial in here. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

16 oz can poured and enjoyed without knowing the strength of this imperial. It's surprisingly smooth, but I suppose I'm not too shocked. Matchless always delivers a smooth and impressive product, regardless of style or potency. Thick and cloudy haze. Foam heavy head. Citrus forward aroma. True fruit character. Finally is a bitter orange and citrus fruit rind. Again, a smooth and easy drinking imperial. Really cant believe this is pushing a quadruple status for the IPA world, and it's so juicy. Quite an impressive brew.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose brings out a nice mix of champagne yeast, tangy citrus hops, moderate dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderfully dank, with lots of dank, tangy, citrus hops, accentuated by a nice champagne yeast character, and a crisp crackery malt backbone. Dank, tangy and nicely yeasty. Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Nose is loaded with fresh, tart strawberries upfront, with lots of white wine barrels. Flavour is extremely sour, with loads of very strawberries, intense acidity, and white wine barrels. Acidic, vinous and intensely puckering. Very good, even if harsh.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a deep dark amber with a large beige head. Aroma brings out vegetal notes, with bready notes and toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with dark fruits, caramel and dry bready malt. Quite rich for the style. Nicely made.
