dark brown color. Amazing nose of spicy green pepper that reminded me of shishito (Japanese green pepper) eating it while in a room of freshly dried paint. Intense and interesting. Light body, not overly toasty but the green pepper and dried paint is pronounced. Very dry. I personally liked this but I could see others not liking it. Interesting beer.

Clear copper with a small white head. Caramel malts and a touch of wood. Soft caramel, light tomato and some mild spice.

Tap at Whity. Hazy brown-orange with lace. Rather faint nose of caramel, toffee, cola. Rich fudge toffee flavor is nicer, treacle, English malt, raisins. Not bad but a little thin too.

Tap at Takumiya. Nose is gobo, which is added and almost comes across as coffee, chocolate, cream. Flavor is medium rich chocolate gobo, light tartness, coffee. Quite nice body for 5%. No issues. Decent.

Cascade version. Tap at Takumiya. Glowing orange-red, cloudy, with lace. Malty, estery nose, cherries, orange, nectarine, light caramel. Flavor is rich fruits: cherries, citrus. Very bitter finish crossing into harshness, possibly some of that from the grain. Not bad for a new brewery. Hope they try to improve.
