Tap @ Inazuma Dining as Numazu Craft Onomichi Citrus IPA. Orange pour, almost clear with some white bubbles on the top. Nose has some bubblegum, malty sweetness mixed with citrus and hops. Citrus peels quite strong but sone sweetness coming through also. Taste has similar citrus base, sone grainy malty feel there as well, bit rough but citric flavours still rule here, quite natural citrus actually. Dry and citric also in the aftertaste, good citric bitterness, lemon seeds and grapefruit. Fresh citrusy IPA, malty base is well hidden.

Tap at Japan Brewer's Cup 2019. Biscuity, honey, spicy Belgian yeast nose. Lemony and cloying, spicy and a bit syrupy. A typically lame attempt at a saison: far too sweet and estery and too much spicy yeast.

Tap at Japan Brewer's Cup 2019. Rich malty nose, biscuits, light caramel, bread, honey. Medium amber. Nicely rich and not over-sweet. Doesn't have the huge body of the best bocks, but pretty damn good for a new brewer.

Tap at Japan Brewer's Cup 2019. Nose is citrus fruit, coffee, oranges, some honey. Coffee coming out a bit like in a pale beer, even though I think there is no coffee in here. Fruity, oily, rich and slick. Rather interesting flavors here.

Tap at Japan Brewer's Cup 2019. Nose is chocolate, licorice, roasted malt, coffee, light citrus. Tasty malts and relatively complex, less citrus and more spice than usual. Well made.
