Tap @ iBrew Shimbashi. Darker brown pour with some beige foam on the top. Nose has some light bacon and some coffee and for some reason also leather. Tastes malty, some cocoa, bitter dark chocolate, light smoked booze and barrel even perhaps? Quite interesting actually, not sure if all flavors blend together perfectly - but this beer is showing some promise. Finish linger feels quite dry.

very dry tart nose that smells like I’ve stuck my nose into a barrel of yogurt yeast. Tart mouth, very dry. Yeast is horrible and dominates. Pass

Tap at Takumi. Lovely super cloudy gold. Fruity nose, sake yeast, nice grain / malt, citrus, peach, melon. Sweet and rich, nice malt and rice but has a nasty, dirty finish. Full, silky body. Clean up the finish and it would be very nice.

Tap at Komachi. Super cloudy orange-gold, pasty even but looks kind of cool. Lovely nose of peaches, orange, light funk. Flavor is far too funky though. They claim to have used Brett but this has all kinds of bugs in it. Interesting, peach and citrus, but just a bit too weird on the funkiness.
