Tap at the brewpub. Cloudy red, flat. Sweet flavor with chocolate, some beets, and the spiciness of the Belgian yeast. The beets show only a little. More like a dubbel. This is a bit too sweet, as many Belgian strong beers are when the brewer is just getting experience with them. The beet is a local thing, and isn’t bad at all. Interesting.
