- beautiful Sakura kochi nose, very spicy. Light body but the Sakura is a bit overwhelming. Too carbonated

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2017. Nose of lemon and pine. Pine and resin flavor, caramel. Old school and not very interesting.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2017. Has pickled cherry leaves added to it. Nose os sakura mochi, the leaves, a little caramel. Cloudy-ass amber, not pretty. Nice, spicy sakura mochi flavor. Good enough.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2017. Nose of caramel and pine and honey. Huge pine flavor, resiny and heavy with lots of caramel. A very old school W-IPA, not bad but made about 10 years too late.

Amber color. Kinda weird nose with apple strudel and oranges and wort. Malty, overwhelming caramel in the mouth. A bit of a disaster.

Tap at Oedo. Clear orange-gold with a low head. Biscuity malt nose with lemon and orange. Sweet and a bit oily. Weak.

Tap at Oedo. Dark brown, cloudy. Nice chocolate and citrus nose, a touch of coffee. Rich chocolate malt and great citrus hops, full flavor and nice oranges. One of the best black IPAs made in Japan.

Tap at Oedo. Dirty, hazy, NE IPA looking muddy ass brown. Nice hop nose, though, great citrus. Very big and juicy hops, lots of citrus and some stone fruit, biscuity malt. Crisp and bitter. DOn’t know if it was intentional, but this did come out quite like a New England IPA. Good.

lots of tea leaf. Low bitterness. ESB. Boring but ok. A new world take on an english style that doesn’t work as usual
