Pours clear amber brown with a small white head. Smells mainly of caramel malt. The flavor is also big on the caramel malt. It’s sweet but not cloying, a smooth, malty brew with a hint of hops bitterness. Good oktoberfest.

Pours hazy yellow orange with a lasting off white head. Smells of vanilla and citrus. The flavor is of sweet malt, vanilla, mild hops bitterness, some citrus, and resin. It’s alright though it’s not my favorite flavor combo.

Pours black with a small lasting light tan head. Smells of chocolate and roast malt. The flavor is fairly sweet with the chocolate notes prominent. It’s smooth and easy drinking while not being as robust as I’d prefer.

Pours near black with a small, lingering light tan head. Smells of roast malt and jaalapenos. It’s definitely the same base beer as the germanfest with the chocolate accented sweetness and some roast. It packs some heat. It’s not a huge amount but it’s very noticeable.

Pours near black with a light tan head. It has a pleasantly roasty aroma with some coffee character. The flavor is on the sweet side with chocolate and roast malt. To me it could use a bit more body.

Pours black with a small lingering tan head. It smells of dark roast malt, coffee, and chocolate. The flavor is full of roast malt. The coffee in particular as well as chocolate notes are there. There’s also some boozy taste. Full bodied and quite good.

Pours clear gold. Smells lightly citrusy and hoppy. The flavor is of resinous hops, a little citrus, and that underwhelming malt character so typical of session IPAs, though the brewer doesn’t list it as a session version.

Pours hazy orange with a lasting off white head. Smells of passion fruit and pineapple. The flavor is full of these fruits, malt, and hop resin. It’s sweet with a little bitterness in the finish, but not an enjoyable bitterness. The hops and sweetness comes off as somehow cough syrupy.

Pours near black with a lingering light tan head. It smells of roast malt, pomegranate, and chocolate. The flavor is similar and on the sweet side. It’s alright, but the characteristic stout malt profile is too weak for me. It needs more body and roastiness.
