Pours clear amber with a lasting off white head. Aroma is of caramel malt mostly. The flavor is sweet and caramelly with some maple. I got a bit of smoky character too for some reason, and some mild hops in the finish. Very good.

I’m not sure how a beer collaboration with a hardware store company works. Did the suits come by for a visit and toss out some beer ideas? Did they poll employees for their favorite styles? Were random employees chosen to go be assistant brewers for the day? Anyway, this brew pours clear gold with a lingering, lacing white head. Smells of grainy, bready malt. The flavor is lightly sweet with that grainy, bready malt. Finishes with mild hops bitterness.

Pours a dark amber brown. Smells of smoky malt. The flavor is very smoky with sweet, toasted somewhat caramelly malt. Medium bodied. Good.

Hazy orange pour with a lingering white head and some lacing. The aroma is citrusy and hoppy. The flavor is mildly to moderately bitter and quite citrusy with a hefty dose of malt sweetening it. Very good hazy.

Pours hazy yellow orange with a lasting off white head. Smells of vanilla and citrus. The flavor is of sweet malt, vanilla, mild hops bitterness, some citrus, and resin. It’s alright though it’s not my favorite flavor combo.

Pours black with a small lasting light tan head. Smells of chocolate and roast malt. The flavor is fairly sweet with the chocolate notes prominent. It’s smooth and easy drinking while not being as robust as I’d prefer.

Pours near black with a small, lingering light tan head. Smells of roast malt and jaalapenos. It’s definitely the same base beer as the germanfest with the chocolate accented sweetness and some roast. It packs some heat. It’s not a huge amount but it’s very noticeable.

Pours near black with a light tan head. It has a pleasantly roasty aroma with some coffee character. The flavor is on the sweet side with chocolate and roast malt. To me it could use a bit more body.
