Taster at the brewpub. Deep dark gold with a fine head. Hazy. Nose is lemon, bread, some honey and biscuits, spicy yeast. Bready orange flavor, some spice, stone fruits. Nicely done. Best of the 5.

Taster at the brewpub. Lemon, grapefruit nose, some honey. Glowing, deep golden color with lace. Dry and lemony, some minerals, very bitter, still a bit of malt harshness.

Taster at the brewpub. Dark amber color, almost flat. Nose of somewhat harsh, spicy malt. Very estery, somewhat spicy flavor, sweet caramel malts. Malt harshness is off-putting, and too estery for the style.
