Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate celler sour and dusty, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. (170408)

Hässliches Etikett. Milder Getreideantrunk, etwas süß. Getreidig bleibend, im Mittelteil etwas hopfig, frisch aber etwas eintönig. Im Abgang etwas metallern, dies geht in einen Malzton über, welcher aber die Getreidigkeit nicht überbieten kann. Zuletzt etwas herb. Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Dark brown colour, off-white tan head. Aroma is fruity and of dark malts. Flavour is malty, fruity and artificially sweet. Ends sour.

Das Bier startet mit einer hopfig-herben Mischung, zu der wenig später ein würziger Unterton stößt, der von nun an konstant bleibt. Ab dem Mittelteil zieht sich die Herbe etwas zurück, der milde Hopfen ist weiter präsent. Noch milder ist nur die Fruchtigkeit. Nun legt der Hopfen aber zu und zieht die Herbe mit sich, im Nachgeschmack ist dieses Aroma in mehr als ausreichender Intensität vorhanden und rettet den vergleichsweise laschen Mittelteil. (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head of average duration. Moderately sweet pale malty, soft grainy aroma with a slightly citrusy and perfumed hops-character. Medium sweet flavour, slightly papery grainy taste, medium to light bodied, crispy carbonation; sweet-bitter grainy finish with light herbal hoppy notes and a touch of cardboard in the aftertaste.

Der Martinator startet bereits alkoholisch und recht eigen. Leicht malzig, unter dem süßlichen und unangenehmen Alkohol schlecht zu erkennen. Im Mittelteil herber, weiter vom Alkohol dominiert, der erst im Nachgeschmack schwächer wird. Hier dominiert dafür die vorher beiläufige Süße, dumpf. Tap, Bokbierfestival Utrecht. Clear golden color, short white head. Aroma of some hop, pils malt. Bit bitter taste, quite malty, slight alcohol. Like a strong german pilsener.

Tap, bokbierfestival Utrecht. Dark brown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, some sweetness, bit fruity as well, caramel, bit bready, some walnut indeed. Good thick body. Bit sweet taste, malty, good balance. Very nice bock.

Tap, as Lahnsteiner Weizen. Cloudy yellow color, big white head. Aroma of some wheat, slight hint of banana, some citrus. Quite watery taste, some wheat, bit yeasty. Very thin and watery. It lacks body and taste.
