Just about exactly what you’d expect from a relatively unknown brewery's Yuzu ale. It tastes of Yuzu.

330ml bottle @ Tokyo Midtown tasting. Clear golden pour, not much foam there. Bit oxidised nose, sweet and malty, some fruitiness and very little hops (left). Tastes sweetish, overripe fruits, hop bitterness there and pretty strong. Not bad but well, not that great either.

330ml bottle @ Tokyo Midtown tasting, thanks Justin. Light orange golden pour, a bit of white foam. Sansho in the nose, some spicy caramel, sweet and has some herbal marmalade. Taste sweetish, medium body and some sansho there, honey, mild and sweetish overall. Balance is pretty good, not bad sansho beer, spicy. Light spicy tingle in the finish, sansho numbing your tongue a bit. Not bad at all.

330ml bottle @ Tokyo Midtown tasting, thanks Justin. Pours pretty black with light brown foam on top. Chocolate and light milk cream in the nose, tiny bit of roast. Taste is light, doesn't feel like a dark beer though some light dust is there, maybe, a bit of smoke and leather, some sweetness. Dry body with some berries, bit of roast. Smoky and does not really do it for me.

Draught at the Yokohama GJBF 2012. Honey gold color. Nose of sweet stewed peaches and honey. Very sweet flavor, lots of honey, esters, peaches. A bit too much. Not terrible but it doesn’t really work.
