#2800. Black pour. Medium bodied. Light roasted malts under sweet caramel and chocolate with some mild rye spice notes. I expected a bit more rye but got a restrained rye profile on a very solid base porter. A good brew.

Draught at Hops ’n Headz, Bellingham, WA; 6.8% ABV
Hazy golden color, clean. The aroma has some musky hop, the malt flavor is indiscernible, with some residual sweetness, bitter and a bit resiny but not enough hop quality.
Mediocre IPA.

On tap at Saraveza for the 7th IIPA Fest, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out caramel malts and resinous hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with a good balance of resinous hops and caramel malts. Not overly elegant, with a good balance between sweet and hops. Very good.

Tasting at Matt’s, 11% ABV
Beautiful dark amber color with small head, Behind the beauty, there is a mess of diacetyl, oranges and caramelly malt.
I’m diacetyl-tolerant, I can drink this one, but it’s seriously unprofessional.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out a massive diacetyl infection, with caramel malts and resin -- what an infection. Flavour is hugely sweet and infected, with lots of candied sugar, caramel malts, resinous hops, and tons of diacetyl. What a massive infection here -- it's almost funny how wrong this is. Embarrassingly infected and terrible.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews. Pours a clear golden color with a ton of foam head and lace. Tropical fruit forward aroma and flavor. Grapefruit heavy. Most flavorful, hoppy, fruit forward lager I’ve ever had. Interesting. Good stuff here.
