Keg at The Beermongers, PDX, 09/11/14. Rich amber with a good sized light beige covering that retais well - this is a handsome beer and fully deserving of a 5 ! Nose is bitter grapefruit, juicy hops, pine jacket, orange pith. Taste comprises caramel malt but not OTT in this respect - no malt bomb here, juicy hops, light mango, bitter orange, grapefruit. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterness. Solid IIPA, drinks like a 7%’er!

Bottle at WBC Denver, April 11 2014.Clear brown color, yellow head. Sweet, malty, alcohol, red berry scent. Sweet, malty, alcohol, raisin taste. Sweet, raisin aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.
