On tap at Zhang Men - Kowloon, pours a hazy orange amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out lots of caramel, bready malt and subdued English resinous hops. Flavour is very malty and caramely, with bready notes; sweet caramel, and subdued resinous hops. Doesn't seem like an IPA to me, more like a semi-hoppy amber. Decent.

Hay and citrus pith. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Pithy and soft with some bready notes.

Soft grains and honey notes. Clear pale gold with a decent white head. Light grains and raw honey notes.

On tap at Zhang Men - H.K. Island, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral hops, biscuity malt, and a little diacetyl. Flavour is along the same lines, musty floral hops and dry biscuity malt - maybe a hint of butter. Not bad, but it's a bit flawed.

Dark roast and pine. Jet black with a decent beige head. Roast and some light pine. Very soft for the style.

On tap at Zhang Men - H.K. Island, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle grassy notes and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is quite soft, with soft grassy notes and biscuity malt. Soft and clean, lacking hops. It's alright.

Roast, toast and coffee. Jet black with a rich beige head. Fruity and coconut notes with some artificial tasting sweetness. Dry finish. Not sure what is going on here.

On tap at Zhang Men - H.K. Island, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted coconut and molasses, with light roast. Flavour is quite fruity and dry, with molasses, toasted coconut and a hint of maple sugar. Dry and smooth. I don't get much hops. It's decent.

On tap at Zhang Men - H.K. Island, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is pure diacetyl, with almost nothing but. Flavour is nothing but diacetyl - just pure buttery, caramel popcorn. Just offensive. Needs fixing.
